Ebonised beech armchair with turned back sections,

supports, and legs. Rush seat set into frame.

A pair of ebonised beech 19th century Sussex  armchairs by Ford Madox Brown (1821 - 1893) for Morris & Co, circa 1860’s, England.

In very good solid condition with no movements to the joints. The rush seats have been newly replaced as well as the wooden strips that surround the rush seat.

Sold as a pair.
